The draft IDA18 Deputies' Report represents the culmination of nine months of formal discussion among IDA Deputies (representatives of countries that contribute to IDA) and representatives of borrower countries regarding the policy directions and commitments for IDA18. It is important to underscore that the Report is still in draft and does not yet reflect the final agreement or commitments of IDA’s shareholders. Therefore, all conclusions and recommendations herein are tentative until final agreement is reached.

The public comment period for the draft IDA18 Deputies’ Report has ended. Comments are being considered for inclusion in the report for discussion by deputies at the final replenishment meeting, to be held December 14-15, 2016, in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Comments received from the public consultation, as well as the IDA team’s responses, are now available: Comments (pdf) | Responses (pdf).

The final report will be presented to IDA's Executive Directors in early 2017. Following their approval, the report will be made public. The IDA18 Resolution will then be transmitted to the IDA Board of Governors for their adoption, which is expected by April 2017.
